I yammered on forever in the last blog, so I think I'll try to keep it brief today. It's Red Claw from Batman: The Animated Series.
During a typically nerdy late night conversation, I was talking about B:TAS with Josh, and was reminded of this bad-ass villainess, so I decided to draw her. Sometimes it's just that simple!
Everything about just screams blood covered death, the look in her eyes, the curled gesture of her fingers; she’s got kill you and eat written everywhere. I just had a disturbing vision of her using her nails to kill her favorite victims. She keeps them short enough to make a fist, but long enough where she coils sharpen them. And just like a cat, that plays with its prey. Poking and prodding with its teeth and claws, before it rips open and eats it. She toys with her victims, physically and mentally before she rips and slices them open, taking out every soft organ they have, including their hearts. She eats their still beating blood covered muscles right in front of them, and they get to die watching her do it. Wow. Any chance you’d be interested in making some images base on this crazy thought? I’m actually trying to make some art of my own.
